Aida Mandic is a Bosnian-American activist, humanitarian, advocate, Internet entrepreneur, poet, songwriter, inventor, investor, blogger, writer, social critic, feminist, futurist, altruist, environmentalist, voice actress, philosopher, social media and digital marketing consultant, and journalist. She is the Founder and CEO of Searchkey, a company that helps people find resources and information that are relevant to their academic goals. She is currently focused on building an educational platform so that more students from disadvantaged backgrounds can find scholarships, reach their potential, and achieve their dreams. Aida was fortunate enough to have been awarded over $100,000 in scholarships and merit-based grants in addition to full-ride scholarship offers to several top universities, totaling over a million dollars. She earned her B.A. at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in Women's Studies. She also studied English Literature abroad at the University of Oxford. She is a world traveler, having lived in five countries and on three continents, due to the fact that she was a refugee and immigrant. Aida has written over 1,600 poems and songs. She lives in Michigan and is currently working on her second book.
