Michael Thornton, M.S., Ed.S, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor who has dedicated the last several years of his life to the development of young people in settings as diverse as boarding schools, boot camps, group homes, mental health agencies, schools, community centers, Boys and Girls' Clubs, athletic teams, churches, and juvenile detention facilities. Currently, he works with a private mental health practice, and he teaches in the psychology department of South University (Montgomery Campus) as an adjunct instructor.
