Te confieso que escribir este libro fue como desentra�ar una serie de peque�os misterios dom�sticos que nadie m�s parec�a notar. Cada cuento naci� de una pregunta absurda: A d�nde van los bostezos que no se contagian? Qui�n archiva el �ltimo pensamiento de una persona? Y se fue construyendo con la gram�tica de mi propia calle, de mi propia ciudad. Este compendio de relatos antiexistencialista es un testimonio del viaje que fue darles vida.

En estas p�ginas, te topar�s, entre muchos otros conflictos peculiares y personajes pintorescos, con el dilema de un vampiro municipal cuyo trabajo no es chupar sangre, sino entusiasmo, y que enfrenta su crisis existencial cuando un proyecto a prueba de desaliento lo deja sin sustento. Asistir�s a la rebeli�n de las leyes f�sicas menores, como esa que dicta que la tostada caiga siempre del lado de la manteca, y su petici�n de un aumento de presupuesto c�smico. Y quiz�s mi favorito: el litigio entre el recuerdo de un aroma y el recuerdo de un sonido, que se disputan con argumentos ingeniosos el �ltimo espacio disponible en la mente de un anciano.

Cada historia termina con un mapa de serendipias y un instructivo derivado de la trama -protocolos absurdos pero realizables- que invita a llevar el absurdo un paso m�s all�, a la realidad cotidiana.

Y el t�tulo... "A Falta de Sorrentino, Exquisito es el Raviol". Es un gui�o secreto, un c�digo personal que encierra la filosof�a de todo el libro. Me reservo la travesura de no develarte su significado completo -parte de la gracia est� en que cada lector lo descifre a su manera-, pero s� te dir� esto: habla de sustituci�n, de ingenio y de encontrar una belleza inesperada en lo que, en principio, parece un sustituto humilde. Es, en el fondo, la clave de todo lo que encontrar�s aqu�.
