Robert (Red) Becker, born in 1960 in California, grew up in cheyenne, WY. He joind the Army after High School. He served in active and reserve roles from 1978-1989. His duties were Anti-Terrorism Research Leader, Contingency Planner (WWIII), Field Sanitation Inspector, Forward Administrative Support Team Assistant Leader (Security & Casualities), Personnel Records Specialist, Combat Engineer, Structures (Pipeline) Engineer, driver, and machine gunner. He was stationed in South Carolina, Georgia [24ID], SHAPE-Belgium, Wyoming [461 EN & SRAAG], Missouri, and Colorado Springs [4th ID]. Red developed the first drafts of this Manual in 1984. It was first printed in 1989, with a second edition with Synergistic Planning, Inc. in 1997 and copyrighted. The Third Edition manual was in 2007. The Fourth Edition was researched and developed with new subjects from November 2009 to August 2010. Red enjoys his wife, most genre of music, history, military, languages, sports, and of course his grandkids.
