Photos were captured in upstate NY at the Retriever Hunt Test (Junior, Senior, Master), Connecticut at the Working Retriever Tests (WC & WCX), and in Massachusetts at the Conformation, Obedience, and Rally Trials.

From the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed, I am surrounded by Golden Retrievers. As of the writing of this passage, my current roster includes six dogs: Marty, Maggie, Miles, Moxie, Minnow, and Mable, who all makeup Moose Golden Retrievers. Some may think it's crazy, but for me, it's the life that I love!

Together my dogs and I spend our days working in my home office where I work as a graphic/web designer. When work is done for the day we train, play, and photograph our adventures in the great outdoors. My enthusiasm for making dog photos over the years has slowly morphed into a small business of its own-I find it extremely rewarding to work with other dog people capturing moments with their best friend. There is something exceptional about the relationship between a person and their dog, from the joy of puppy-hood to the heartfelt emotional bond between a senior dog and their master, making images for people has been an absolute labor of love.

I've been a dog person all my life, but I'm very new to dog sports and dog shows with just a few months of hunt test, and obedience club training to date. When I heard about a Golden Retriever National Event being held in my local area I knew I was destined to be a part of it! This book is my first ever project of its kind, it's a collection of images I photographed while in attendance at this incredible event. I assume if you are reading this you too love Goldens, but whether you have a Golden now, have had one in the past, or hope to have one in the future, this book was made for you to escape your daily grind, take time for yourself and sit back and smile at some magnificent dogs.
