When David Walker witnesses a mysterious woman receive a secret package from a stranger, he makes the fateful decision to follow her. He has no idea that he is about to walk into a multilayered conspiracy that goes back decades...back to World War II and the Nazi regime.

What David doesn't realize is that this woman had been on a personal mission to retrieve artwork that was stolen from her family by the Nazis during the war. What she unearthed on her quest-a list of mysterious bank accounts-accounts that threaten to reveal the CIA's darkest secret-would make her a marked woman.

Will David be able to escape the eyes of the CIA, which has been watching him longer than he could ever have imagined? Will he manage to expose the biggest conspiracy of the twentieth century?

David knows too much, and to some of the most powerful people on Earth, he is seen as only one thing: a dangerous loose end.

A Loose End is a riveting thriller with momentous historical vision. Written with stunning insight into the complex cog that was World War II, this fast-paced novel of political conspiracy will change the way you look at the Second World War-and Hitler-forever.

David Morsilli is the author of A Loose End. Before taking time to write this novel, David served with the US Agency for International Development in Afghanistan as part of the civilian/military surge in 2010. There, he was embedded with the US Marines for Operation Moshtarak, the objective of which was to retake control of the Taliban stronghold of Marjah in Helmand Province.

Prior to that assignment, David worked in the field of humanitarian emergencies for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Somalia, where he implemented water projects in a region affected by severe drought. Before that he worked with the IRC as camp manager of a camp for internally displaced persons in Darfur.

David also worked for the American Red Cross on the Hurricane Katrina disaster-relief operations. David's first overseas experience came as a Peace Corps volunteer in Macedonia, where he worked on community development projects in the community of Saraj.

In David's first job after completing his liberal arts degree at Boston University, he worked as an aide to Governor Bruce Sundlun of Rhode Island.

David is a native Rhode Islander and currently lives in Providence.
