The book contains an analytic substance. It offers the original analysis of the origin of political economy, the approach to defining political economy, part of critique of neoclassical economics, critique of sustainable development, and critique of growth school of economic thought. About The Author

The writer is a visiting lecturer in Rural Development at Central Department of Rural Development/Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He teaches the course entitled "Rural Development: Theory and Discourse" to MA First Semester students. He also taught undergraduate students the course in Rural Sociology and Development at Sigma College affiliated to Tribhuvan University. He is a writer of the textbook entitled "Rural Sociology and Development" intended for the third year undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Rural Development at different colleges affiliated to Tribhuvan University.
