Her subsequent discoveries brought unimagined surprises regarding kangaroos!As Science continues to reveal more astonishing facts about the animal kingdom, her enduring fascination with it has developed into a zeal for sharing with children some of the extraordinary abilities and quirky characteristics of creatures from around the world.Having a professional background in human communication, which included a focus on phonetics, she relays these nuggets of insight in an engaging style with a distinct sense of exuberance.

de Sousa, Rita: - While I have a scientific background and education, I've always enjoyed being creative. This project ended up being a collaboration with my sister since she has a talent for using alliteration in rhyming poetry. I began delving into the realm of design, by trial and error, using some excellent tools which were developed here in Australia. Finishing with a five-book series was not what we had envisaged at first. However, it turned out to be a satisfying achievement.
