Briann Spadicini learned as a girl growing up with three brothers in Italian family was a difficult task. Her feeling of being different enhanced her strength against their brutality. She gave fear a holiday at an early age.

Toni Giorgianni grew up in South Philadelphia until the age of Seventeen when she joined the Navy. She was stationed on Treasure Island and has lived in San Francisco since her discharge. She lives with her sprouse of forty-Eight years and a dog named Amber. She has a BS degree in Economics from the University of San Francisco. She is currently working on a book of her poetry. A Rough Patch is her second book, La Tigra being the first. Someone wins Someone loses is the third book. A sequel to this one is coming in October 2014.
