(Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Bhag Six focuses on aatm-sanyam aur dhyaan yog. Through 47 shlokas, Lord Krishna explains discipline, control of the mind, and the true nature of a Karmayogi. He teaches that a real Karmayogi is not one who only appears to renounce the world, but one who performs his duties with balance and inner discipline. Lord Krishna clearly explains the practice of meditation simply and practically. He says that the mind, although restless by nature, can be controlled through regular practice and detachment. Through meditation, one realizes the soul within and its connection with the Supreme.
He also explains what happens to a sincere householder who does not attain complete spiritual success in this life, assuring that no effort on the spiritual path is ever wasted. The chapter concludes with the message that among all yogis, the greatest is the one who fixes his mind on the Lord and worships Him with faith and devotion.
This part highlights victory over the mind, the greatness of meditation, and the true state of a Karmayogi. It is ideal for seekers on the path of self-realization.)
