Gottfried Mayer ist seit 1990 bei der BMW AG in München tätig, sein Weg führte über unterschiedliche Stationen im Jahr 1999 zur Ablaufsimulation. Bis 2018 übernahm er verschiedene Verantwortungen in den Bereichen Ablaufsimulation, Fabrikplanung, virtuelle Produktion und Digital Twin, seit 2018 ist er IT-Projektleiter für Additive Manufacturing. Er war von 2005 bis 2018 Mitglied und Sprecher der Arbeitsgruppe Ablaufsimulation im Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA).


Carsten Pöge ist seit 2001 bei der Volkswagen AG am Standort Wolfsburg in der Konzern IT tätig und war zunächst verantwortlich für die Themen Ablaufsimulation, Betriebsmittelbibliotheken und Systembebauungsplanung. Seit 2006 ist er IT Projektleiter für die Methode Ablaufsimulation im Programm Digitale Fabrik. 2005 wurde er Mitglied und ist seit 2008 Sprecher der Arbeitsgruppe Ablaufsimulation im Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA).


Dr. Sven Spieckermann ist Sprecherdes Vorstands des Simulationsdienstleisters SimPlan AG. Darüber hinaus hat er seit vielen Jahren Lehraufträge für Simulation am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie, an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt und der Technischen Universität Braunschweig inne.

Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sigrid Wenzel leitet das Fachgebiet Produktionsorganisation und Fabrikplanung im Institut für Produktionstechnik und Logistik der Universität Kassel. Sie ist stellvertretende Vorstandsvorsitzende der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Simulation (ASIM) und Sprecherin der ASIM-Fachgruppe "Simulation in Produktion und Logistik". Gleichzeitig leitet sie den Fachausschuss (FA) 204 "Modellierung und Simulation" und ist stellvertretende Leiterin des FA 205 "Digitale Fabrik" sowie Mitglied im Fachbeirat "Fabrikplanung und -betrieb" der Gesellschaft für Produktion und Logistik im Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI-GPL).
