Im Anhang des Buches gibt es zudem viele weitere praktische Tipps und Hilfestellungen für einen gesunden Alltag. Besonders wichtig ist: "Abnehmen ohne Achterbahn" ist KEINE Diät! Die im ersten Kapitel angestrebte Ernährungsform ist für Menschen jeden Alters geeignet. Auch Kinder und Jugendliche sowie ältere Menschen dürfen beziehungsweise müssen sich gesund ernähren, unabhängig davon ob sie an Übergewicht leiden oder nicht.

Beatrice Schmidt wurde im Sommer 1975 in Berlin geboren. Nach dem Abitur studierte Sie Marketing und Marktforschung sowie Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Nach ein paar Arbeitsjahren stellte Sie fest, dass diese Berufe nicht Ihre Berufung waren. So sattelte Sie um und machte eine intensive Ausbildung zur Ernährungsberaterin mit dem Schwerpunkt der Prävention von ernährungsbedingten Erkrankungen. Direkt im Anschluss an die Ausbildung eröffnete Sie Ihre eigene Beratungspraxis und erweiterte das Ernäh-rungsberatungsangebot 2012 um den Bereich der Onli-ne-Beratung. Ihr Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt ist die Ernäh-rungsumstellung. Das Motto Ihrer Ernährungs- und Gesundheitsberatung laute: "Die beste Diät ist die, die keine ist!" Die Privatperson Beatrice Schmidt ist verheiratet, hat drei Kinder und lebt in einer kleinen beschaulichen Gemeinde in Niederbayern.
