The final few chapters include cupping and moxibustion, important supplementary tactics that can be used in addition to acupuncture to increase their mutual efficacy. Acupuncture: The Ancient Chinese Text is perhaps one of the few existing introductory texts on acupuncture that is presented in an organized fashion that almost anyone can understand, though it is not a stand-alone text. This book should definitely be supplemented by other books as soon as the reader's knowledge can grasp the basic foundations of acupuncture. Learning acupuncture is not an easy task.
