Im ersten Abschnitt soll das Störungsbild ADHS und dessen Komplexität dargestellt werden. Es soll ein Überblick gegeben werden, wie sich ADHS äu ert, welche Ursachenhypothesen es unter Fachleuten gibt und mit welchen Diagnosesystemen zur Bestimmung gearbeitet wird. Der zweite Abschnitt soll verschiedene Interventionsmöglichkeiten beschreiben. Der Kontext pädagogischer Praxis soll im dritten Abschnitt untersucht werden. Dabei soll im Wesentlichen darauf eingegangen werden, welche Möglichkeiten zur Förderung speziell Lehrer haben und inwiefern Pädagogik und Didaktik Einfluss nehmen können. Die typischen Verhaltensweisen von Kindern mit einer Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit- / Hyperaktivitätsstörung (ADHS) sind den meisten wahrscheinlich schon einmal begegnet. Doch dieses Störungsbild ist keinesfalls neu. Im Gegensatz zur Aufmerksamkeitsdefizitstörung (ADS), bei der Kinder eher als Träumer beschrieben werden, äu ert sich die Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit-/ Hyperaktivitätsstörung (ADHS) in übermä igem Bewegungsdrang und verminderter Impulskontrolle.
