Besides teaching DSP, she has also taught subjects like Digital Communication, Communication Systems, Mobile Communication, Random Signals and Processes, etc. She is currently working as a professor in Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Pune. Dr. Apte did her Masters in Electronics and Ph.D. both from Shivaji University and Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, Maharashtra. Her Ph.D. thesis is in the field of speech processing. Dr. Apte has published several research papers in International Journals and conferences in the same area.
