Praveen Kumar Yadav's journey in forensic science is marked by dedication, versatility, and a commitment to excellence. Beginning with a B.Sc. in Forensic Science from Amity University, Noida, India and furthering his education with a Master's in Forensic Science from the prestigious National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, Delhi, India, Yadav pursued his passion for the field with unwavering determination. His academic journey reached new heights with a Ph.D. from Punjabi University, Patiala, where he specialized in toxicology and forensic science. However, Yadav's interests extend far beyond his specialization, encompassing diverse disciplines such as forensic biology, toxicology & forensic chemistry, and ethics in forensic science, and research methodology.
His dedication to research and teaching is evident, with 6 years dedicated to research and 5 years to teaching. Yadav's scholarly contributions shine through in over 30 papers published in esteemed national and international journals, along with 6 book chapters and 6 conference papers. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Sandip University, Nasik, Yadav plays a pivotal role in guiding & shaping the next generation of forensic professionals. His role as the nodal officer for the National Apprenticeship Training Program (NATS) underscores his commitment to providing practical learning opportunities for students. Moreover, Yadav brings a wealth of teaching experience from various universities, including Cochin University, Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, and Ladakh University.

Sweety Sharma's journey in forensic science is indeed a testament to dedication, versatility, and an unyielding pursuit of excellence. Beginning with a strong foundation in medical lab technology and a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology, she honed her skills in laboratory practices and methodologies. Building upon this foundation, Sharma delved deeper into the natural sciences with a B.Sc. in Zoology Honours, where she explored the intricacies of animal biology and physiology. However, her thirst for knowledge and her desire to contribute to the realm of justice led her to transition into forensic sciences. This pivotal decision led Sharma to pursue an M.Sc. in Forensic Sciences, equipping her with the specialized skills and expertise necessary for forensic analysis and investigation. Additionally, her pursuit of a Postgraduate Diploma in the Criminal Justice System further enriched her understanding of the legal framework within which forensic science operates. Fast forward to today, Dr. Sweety Sharma stands as an esteemed Assistant Professor at the Department of Forensic Biology and Biotechnology at the National Forensic Sciences University, Institute of National Importance, New Delhi Campus. Her journey in forensic science culminated in groundbreaking research on the application of ATR FT-IR spectroscopy in analyzing body fluids, earning her a Ph.D. from Punjabi University, Patiala, in 2021. Dr. Sharma's expertise transcends traditional boundaries, encompassing diverse forensic disciplines such as biology, serology, chemistry, anthropology, odontology, diatomology, botany, wildlife forensics, and DNA profiling. Her meticulous characterization of various evidentiary materials using cutting-edge spectroscopic techniques has significantly advanced forensic science methodologies. Dr. Sharma's prolific publication record of 36 research papers in prestigious national and international peer-reviewed journals, along with 6 authoritative book chapters, speaks volumes about her meticulousness and dedication to excellence.
