This book addresses the major aspects of the sound production mechanism in single-reed woodwind instruments and provides an extensive review of the theories related to flow-induced vibration and aerodynamic sound generation in internal flows at low Mach numbers and high acoustic amplitudes. In addition, the book presents a series of numerical techniques that can be used to assess this family of problems, thus providing a useful reference source for research areas such as duct acoustics, flow- induced vibration and aeroacoustics.
