Inhaltsangabe: Problemstellung: Immer wieder wurde in den letzten Jahren über eine mögliche Zunahme von Gewalt und damit von aggressiven Verhaltensweisen in den verschiedensten Bereichen unserer Gesellschaft berichtet. „Steigende Zahlen zur Gewalt ... sagen (jedoch) nichts über tatsächliche Veränderungen, sondern zunächst nur etwas über die Veränderung der öffentlichen Aufmerksamkeit und die Bereitschaft aus, solche Straftaten auch anzuzeigen." Ob aggressives Verhalten wirklich zugenommen hat, lässt sich statistisch kaum nachweisen. Zugenommen hat aber auf jeden Fall das subjektive Gefühl, bedroht zu sein und aggressivem Verhalten ohnmächtig gegenüber zu stehen. Darüber hinaus kommt man im konkreten Einzelfall schnell an die Grenzen der eigenen Friedfertigkeit und Belastbarkeit, wenn man mit aggressivem Verhalten konfrontiert wird. Genau an dieser Stelle möchte ich mit meiner Arbeit ansetzen. Gang der Untersuchung: Während ich im ersten Teil dieser Arbeit mit der Erklärung aggressiven Verhaltens anhand verschiedener psychologischer Theorien die Grundlage zum verstehen dieser Verhaltensweisen lege, habe ich den zweiten Teil ganz der Darstellung der verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, aggressives Verhalten zu verringern, gewidmet. Im dritten Teil schlie lich flie en die theoretischen Überlegungen des ersten und zweiten Teils in ein Seminar zum Thema „Aggression" ein, dessen pädagogische Grundlagen im wesentlichen aus der Themenzentrierten Interaktion von Ruth C. Cohn und der humanistischen Psychologie und Pädagogik stammen und den Seminarteilnehmern ganzheitliches (d.h. kognitives und emotionales) Lernen ermöglichen sollen. Insgesamt liegt der Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit allerdings mehr auf dem Thema „Aggression" als auf den pädagogischen Methoden, die zur Umsetzung dieses Themas in einem Seminar notwendig sind. Diese Arbeit lässt sich auch als Handbuch verstehen. Ein Handbuch, das interessierte Pädagogen in die Lage versetzen soll, ein eigenes Seminar zum Thema „Aggre
