Auch die aktuelle digitale Lage des Controllings in deutschen Unternehmen und mögliche Weiterentwicklungen des Bereichs sollen ermittelt werden. Daraus ergeben sich für diese Arbeit folgende Forschungsfragen: Welche Auswirkungen hat die Digitalisierung mit ihren aktuellen Trends auf die Controlling Prozesse, die Controlling Organisation, das Rollenverständnis und das Kompetenzprofil des Controllers? Wie sieht der derzeitige Digitalisierungsgrad des Controllings in Deutschland aus und wie wird sich das Controlling zukünftig entwickeln?
