With Willow's ex-husband in prison, everything should be perfect between her and husband, Patrick, but something is going on that causes irritation, distrust and absolute fear. Someone is tracking Willow's every move; there's danger everywhere she turns. Patrick is skeptical and even suspects Willow has developed an overly active imagination, but then, something unimaginable happens, and their lives come unraveled. Each time the couple believe they have overcome the worst possible that could happen, another horror appears on the horizon. Can the pieces be put back together before time runs out? SPOILER ALERT: The novel also delves deeply into the subject of Alzheimer's disease.

BARBARA SHARIK is a freelance writer, a newspaper and magazine columnist, an author and painter. She pens a weekly humor column, Life in the Last Lane (Bastrop Daily Enterprise, La.), a monthly humor magazine column, Runnin' the Roads (Louisiana Road Trips). She is co-author on the recently released autobiography of Johnny Wink titled Megabucks: Living the Dream. Her most recent book, LIFE IN THE LAST LANE: Dancing as Fast as I Can, a book about Alzheimer's Disease, has resulted in a mission to offer an insight into this dread disease; geared toward caregivers, family members and early sufferers. She is available for speaking engagements. This book is unusual in that this most serious subject is presented on a layman's level and delivered with humor instead of the standard hard to read medical books. Plans for a book about Sleep Apnea are in the works, to be written in the manner of her book about Alzheimer's disease. Visit Barbara Sharik on facebook.
