Diese Worte distanzieren das, was der j�dische Religionsphilosoph Martin Buber als das Dialogische fasst, von dem, was heute gemeinhin darunter verstanden wird. F�r Buber ist das Ausgehen zum Anderen, das Du-Sprechen zum Gegen�ber, der Akt der Menschwerdung, der in unserer Zeit so h�ufig verfehlt wird. Nach einer anf�nglichen terminologischen Ann�herung an den Dialogbegriff ergr�ndet die Arbeit zun�chst Bubers Menschenbild. Diese anthropologische Grundlegung leitet �ber zur Auseinandersetzung mit dem Dialogischen Prinzip. Die Scheidung der beiden Grundworte Ich-Es und Ich-Du bietet heute mehr denn je fruchtbare Impulse zu allgemein lebensweltlichen und speziell bildungstheoretischen Fragestellungen in Zeiten einer empirischen Wende in der P�dagogik. Der eigentliche Fokus dieser Arbeit, der zugleich das abschlie ende Kapitel bildet, liegt jedoch auf den Implikationen der Buberschen Dialogik f�r die Kulturkonfliktforschung. "Wir oder die Anderen!" lautete der auch in Anlehnung an Samuel Huntingtons "Kampf der Kulturen" gew�hlte Seminartitel; mit Buberscher Sprachfindigkeit lie sich dem entgegensetzen: "Wir durch die Anderen!".
