George Hartlen is the Chief Administrative Officer for Friends of Riding Mountain National Park, a volunteer, non-profit, charitable organization that has worked with Riding Mountain National Park since 1987.

Anne Nesbitt is a playwright and author who has worked on numerous projects with Friends of Riding Mountain National Park.

Carla Joseph, the illustrator, is a Cree artist from Prince George, B.C. She won the Prince George Art Battle in 2016 and 2018.
