Bucher zum Fach "Elektrische MeBtechnik" gibt es eine ganze Reihe fUr die verschieden- sten Stufen technischer Ausbildung bis zum Hochschulbereich. Oft sind es sehr breit angelegte Titel oder solche mit einer gewissen Spezia1isierung. Deswegen haben wir versucht, ein Buch zu schaffen, das mbglichst aile anspricht, Ingenieure in der Praxis sowie Studenten der verschiedensten Fachbereiche in Elektrotechnik und Maschinen- wesen. Es solI ein Buch fUr Praktiker, es soli anwendbar und doch soli de fundiert sein. Es werden die grundsatzlichen Zusammenhange angesprochen, urn das Verstandnis zu setzen und das gezielte Einarbeiten in bestimmte Teilbereiche zu unterstUtzen. So wird das Buch auch zum Nachschlagewerk fUr den Praktiker, der oftmals die Grundlage in gestraffter Form nochmals durchgehen mbchte. Dies fiihrt ebenso wie der groBe Umfang des Gebiets zu einer recht knapp gefaBten Darstellung. Ein Buch, das aile, auch die spezielleren Fragen in Form von Patentlbsungen beantworten kbnnte, wird es nicht geben und kbnnen wir nicht vorlegen.
