About The Author

Shiflett, Stacey: - Michael Stacey Shiflett was born October 19, 1972, saved in 1976 and called to preach in 1993. Pastor Shiflett is a 5th generation independent Baptist preacher, growing up in the home of a pastor and missionary. He served with his parents in the Samoan and Hawaiian Islands during the '80's. Upon completion of Bible College, he served with his wife and children as a missionary in South Africa for 5 1/2 years. He was the pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Taylors, SC from 2006 until 2014. He has been the Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Dundalk, Maryland since 2014. He is the Founder and Senior Administrator of SureWord Baptist College. (www.surewordbaptistcollege.org)He and his wife, Grace have five children. The Shiflett family enjoys singing together and serving the Lord in the various ministries of their local church.Pastor Shiflett was a building contractor prior to going into the ministry with a successful construction company. He prepared for the ministry at Grace Baptist Institute in Harlem, Georgia, a ministry of Antioch Baptist Church. When he is not pastoring the flock, Pastor Shiflett enjoys many hobbies such as deer hunting, reading, playing instruments, song writing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.He also hosts The Stacey Shiflett Podcast found on Spotify, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms. He partnered with Remnant Ministries in the evangelistic film, Redeeming Home (redeeminghope.com) and portrayed the main character, Denver McCabe. This film has been produced in multiple languages.He has written more than two dozen books, and a number of tracts and articles.
