Grant, Thomas Nast, and others. Ward's fraudulent firm, Grant & Ward, promised high returns, leveraging trust and false claims of insider access. Convicted of fraud, he served six years in prison. Despite later efforts, he faded into obscurity, leaving a tarnished legacy.
