About the Author

Dr Niranjan Shendurnikar MD FIAP, is a consultant pediatrician and DNB Pediatrics Coordinator at KG Patel Children Hospital, Vadodara. He also served as Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baroda Medical College, Vadodara. He is actively associated with Indian Academy of Pediatrics at various levels and was its National Executive Board member for several terms. His fields of interest include infectious diseases, immunizations and information technology. He has several books, chapters and scientific articles to his credit. Dr Paresh A Thakkar MD, DNB, DCH is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Medical College Baroda and SSG Hospital, Vadodara. He is a well-known academician, clinician, and researcher. He has nearly two decades of experience in the field of pediatrics. He has presented many scientific papers at various platforms. He has numerous publications to his credit and contributed many chapters for other books as well. His areas of interest include Neonatology, Pediatric Nephrology, Medical Ethics, and Clinical Research.
