Die Corona-Pandemie und die damit verbundenen Entwicklungen haben eine neue Normalität in der Arbeitswelt entstehen lassen. Diese neue Normalität beinhaltet unter anderem sieben Trilogien, die auch als die 7x3er-Regel bezeichnet werden. Hier ist zunächst die Transformations-Trilogie zu nennen, bestehend aus der digitalen, der ökonomischen und der ökologischen Transformation. Hinzu kommen drei limitierte Faktoren: eingeschränkte finanzielle Mittel, Zeit als knappes Gut sowie der Nachwuchs- und Fachkräftemangel. Die drei Währungen der neuen Normalität, die nahezu gleichberechtigt nebeneinander stehen, sind Geld, Zeit und Purpose. Im organisatorischen Bereich besteht die Trilogie aus agilem Arbeiten, Mobile Work und flexiblen Arbeitsformen. Dabei gestaltet sich die Zusammenarbeit wahlweise stationär, hybrid oder virtuell. Drei Merkmale der Führung, die es zu beachten gilt, sind die Prinzipien Transparenz, Partizipation und Krisenstab. Nicht zuletzt lassen sich drei Ebenen der Beschäftigungsfähigkeiten identifizieren: Kompetenzen, Identifikation und Gesundheit.
Das Buch greift zentrale Aspekte dieser sieben Trilogien auf und erläutert sie anhand praktischer Beispiele, aktueller wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse und Studien sowie Experteneinschätzungen. Dabei behalten die Herausgeberinnen und Autor*innen stets den Bezug zur betrieblichen Personalpolitik im Fokus und geben praxisorientierte Empfehlungen und Handlungshinweise.

Prof. Dr. Jutta Rump ist Professorin für Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Internationales Personalmanagement und Organisationsentwicklung an der Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft Ludwigshafen. Sie hat zudem zahlreiche Mandate auf regionaler und nationaler Ebene inne und ist in Unternehmen als Projekt- und Prozessbegleiterin tätig. Darüber hinaus leitet sie das Institut für Beschäftigung und Employability IBE, das den Schwerpunkt seiner Forschungsarbeit auf personalwirtschaftliche, arbeitsmarktpolitische und beschäftigungsrelevante Fragestellungen legt.
