Aufgrund der geografischen Nähe sowie der engen historischen und wirtschaftlichen Verflechtungen werden die kulturellen Unterschiede zwischen Schweden und Deutschland meist stark unterschätzt. Doch können sie besonders in Fragen des Arbeitsrechts leicht zu Missverständnissen und ernsten Problemen führen. Daher ist es unerlässlich, diese Unterschiede zu kennen, um Missverständnisse oder sogar arbeitsgerichtliche Streitigkeiten zu vermeiden.

Rechtsanwältin Dr. Eva Häußling leitet seit 2003 die Rechtsabteilung der Deutsch-Schwedischen Handelskammer in Stockholm. Zuvor war die Expertin für deutsches und schwedisches Recht mehrere Jahre als Legal Counsel bei einem schwedischen Industrieunternehmen tätig. Aktueller Schwerpunkt ihrer Arbeit ist die Beratung deutscher Unternehmen mit Arbeitnehmern bzw. Tochtergesellschaften in Schweden.

Die Deutsch-Schwedische Handelskammer (Tysk-Svenska Handelskammaren) wurde vor mehr als 60 Jahren gegründet und verfügt heute mit Büros in Stockholm und Malmö über enge Kontakte zu Entscheidungsträgern aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Verbänden. Sie begleitet Unternehmen beim Markteinstieg und in der laufenden Marktbearbeitung. Ihre mehrsprachigen Mitarbeiter sind ausgewiesene Kenner des schwedischen und deutschen Marktes.
