Dr. Achyuta Samanta is an educationist, philanthropist and social worker. He is the founder of the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), which has provided free education and amenities to 80,000 tribal children over the past two decades, and the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), a prominent global university.

A former Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), he has received numerous international and national awards. Dr Samanta promotes the Art of Giving as a way of life and works dedicatedly to achieve zero poverty, zero hunger and zero illiteracy.
