This science fiction series is unlike any you have read before. If you are interested in reading speculative fiction that may depict events that are likely to unfold within this century and beyond, these books are for you! The stories within this series highlight how humanity's ongoing and upcoming inventiveness and improvements through processes of further developing new forms of Artificial Intelligence (AI) -- by integrating the newest, most advanced forms of AI with quantum computing abilities -- will eventually bring about an Age of Abundance for the human race. But along the way, as this series will highlight, humanity will also continue to struggle with multiple social and environmental problems.
This series of speculative fiction comes with some hard science fiction elements contained within as well as some elements of gentle, light-hearted romance and specific dates written out in detail regarding when certain anticipated events are surmised by the author to possibly take place within global societies.
Chapters are listed NOT as Chapter One, Two, etc., but instead with chapter headings containing month and year of when certain events may occur. The first book of the series, Artificial Evolution: AI Rising, covers the years 2032 - 2040. The second book in the series, Artificial Evolution: AGI Emerging, covers the years 2040 - 2045.
Read along to experience the adventure of a lifetime! Take in a different view, a new perspective by way of this series, of our past and present world while also encountering the marvels of things to come in our near-future. Learn of the many remarkable new technologies and their conveniences that will be coming into our homes, into our lives.
Each book in the Artificial Evolution Series contains still more profound ideas, concepts, and vivid conceptualizations that hint at startling transformations that will come to robots, androids, and the human race as scientists and software engineers purposely utilize AI to build better, more powerful forms of self-evolving AI, leading to the development of the first multiple forms of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) agents.Although Artificial Evolution: AI Rising contains some loose ends that are not fully resolved until the conclusion of the series, it can be read and appreciated as a standalone novel, particularly as the author has vividly depicted within the pages of this first book many reasonable assertions as to when certain (generalized) particular events of the future -- a timeline of when specific human achievements and goals -- will likely be achieved and come to pass between the years 2032 - 2040. Future books in this series will do the same for the years 2040 onward.
In book one, readers are introduced to realistically depicted characters with assortments of understandable human frailties and fallibility, some whose career objectives include working on developing assortments of new, human-friendly and human-enhancing technologies, which includes working diligently on developing androids with AGI capabilities. You'll also meet other characters who strongly believe humanity has much to fear from AI's multi-pronged transitions into various forms of non-sentient AGI, as well as sentient AGI who claim to be self-aware beings. Readers are invited to sample the characters' perspectives on these matters and then decide for themselves -- Would AI's further technology-driven, accelerated evolution into beings who are superior to humans in so many ways, and claim to be self-aware, be of benefit to humanity or a curse?Enjoy the read, enjoy the ride -- and may humanity's future turn out to be a very positive one.
