About The Book

SHIVAJI SAWANT IS KNOWN FOR HIS FICTIONS BASED ON HISTORICAL & MYTHOLOGICAL CHARACTERS, BUT HE ALSO PORTRAITS REAL LIFE HERO'S WITH SAME INTENSITY . THE BOOK 'ASHI MANE ASE NAMUNE' IS GREAT EXAMPLE OF HIS UNDERSTANDING OF HUMAN CHARACTERS & THEIR PRESENTATION IN THE LITERARY FORM. HE WAS BORN IN A SMALL FARMER FAMILY OF AAJRA VILLAGE IN KOLHAPUR DISTRICT IN MAHARASHTRA. HE FINISHED HIS SCHOOL EDUCATION IN VYANKATRAO HIGH SCHOOL AJARA. HE WORKED WITH RAJARAM PRASHALA, KOLHAPUR AS A TEACHER FOR 20 YEARS. DURING THESE GLORIOUS YEARS OF HIS LIFE HE CAME ACROSS VARIOUS HUMOROUS PERSONALITIES, WE CAN MEET THEM IN THIS BOOK.
