Zur Vermittlung solcher Kenntnisse iiber die Grundlagen und experirnentellen Methoden der Luftchemie entstand dieses Buch zunachst als Materialiensammlung fUr ein Fortbildungsseminar irn Rahmen des VDI-Bildungswerkes. Das Seminar hat bisher dreirnal mit reger Beteiligung aus Industrie, Wissenschaft und Behorden stattgefunden. Dabei wurden neueste Forschungsergebnisse beriicksichtigt sowie Wert auf die didaktischen Erfordernisse bei der Abhandlung des Stoffes gelegt. Das Buch wendet siehan Naturwis- senschaftler, Ingenieure und andere FacWeute, die auf dem Gebiet der Luftreinhaltung und fUr den allgemeinen Umweltschutz tiitig sind.
