Aufarbeitung von Unrechtsregimen im Vergleich, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Hausarbeit setzt sich inhaltlich mit der Aufarbeitung des kommunistischen Unrechtsregimes in Polen auseinander. Um die Vergangenheitspolitik Polens nach dem Systemwechsel (1989) systematisch darstellen und theoretisch begründen zu können, wird das Konzept der Vergangenheitspolitik nach Stra ner auf das Untersuchungsland Polen angewandt. Im Mittelpunkt der Hausarbeit steht die Forschungsfrage, wie die Gräueltaten zur Zeit der Volksrepublik Polen nach dem Systemwechsel politisch, sozial und juristisch aufgearbeitet wurde. Um die Grenzen einer Hausarbeit nicht übersteigen zu müssen, werden detaillierte Informationen über das Untersuchungsland (Polen) vermieden, die für die Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage nicht relevant sind. Die Arbeit beinhaltet sowohl theoretische als auch praktische (auf das Land Polen bezogenen Anwendung) Elemente. Im zweiten Kapitel werden Ansätze zur Vergangenheitsbewältigung bzw. Vergangenheitspolitik nach Helmut König und Stra ner vorgestellt, die jeweils aus zwei Unterkategorien bestehen. Zum einen geht es bei König darum, pro und contra-Argumente zum Vergessen und Erinnern vorzustellen. Daraufhin werden in der zweiten Unterkategorie "das kollektive Gedächtnis" zwischen dem kulturellen Gedächtnis, Funktionsgedächtnis und Speichergedächtnis unterschieden. Anschlie end daran, wird der Begriff "Vergangenheitspolitik" nach Stra ner definiert. Die kategorische Unterscheidung der einzelnen Dimensionen der Vergangenheitspolitik, die auf Stra ner zurückzuführen sind, werden jeweils präsentiert und erläutert. Im dritten Kapitel, geht es hauptsächlich darum anhand der Konzeptualisierung der Vergangeheitspolitik nach Stra ner herauszuarbeiten, wie mit dem
