In diesem B�chlein habe ich die grundlegenden Probleme der technischen Thermodynamik in Form von praktischen Aufgaben behandelt. Mit dieser Aufgabensammlung soll sowohl einem Bed�rfnis der technischen Praxis als auch der Studierenden entsprochen werden, in gedr�ngter K�rze Anleitung f�r W�rmerechnungen zu finden. Zum klaren Verst�ndnis f�r den Leser schlie t die Berechnung unmittelbar an die AufgabensteiIung an, wobei zahlreiche Abbildungen die Einsicht erleichtern. Die formelm� igen Ans�tze und die Nebenrechnung sind, soweit notwendig, mit aufgef�hrt. Ich habe allenthalben einheitliche Bezeichnungen, Abk�rzungen und Dimensionen des technischen Ma - systems angewandt, die in einer Zusammenstellung am Schlusse nochmals erl�utert werden. Zur Erleichterung f�r den weniger ge�bten Leser habe ich den Faktor A = 1/427 kcal/kg als Umrechnungswert des mechanischen W�rme�quivalents in der Rechnung mitgef�hrt, so da sich die Bezeichnung L f�r die Arbeit stets in mkg versteht. An Stelle der fr�her �blichen Bezeichnung "W�rme inhalt (bei kon. stantem Druck)" wird durchweg das Wort Enthalpie gebraucht. Anwendungsgebiete der Thermodynamik, wie W�rme�bertragung, Str�mung, Vergasung, konnten im Rahmen dieser Ausf�hrungen nicht ber�cksichtigt werden.
