Mr. Abbate excels at leading businesses to overcome challenges and make high-stakes decisions using his experience-backed judgment, strong work ethic, and irreproachable integrity. Characterized as a visionary strategist, Mr. Abbate has a consistent record of delivering extraordinary results in growth, revenue, operational performance, profitability, systematization, automation, and continuous organizational improvement. He has a heavy transaction background including startup financing, mergers and acquisitions, and turnarounds. Between the years of 2003 and 2013, Mr. Abbate started/developed or acquired/ improved and then sold eight different companies -serving various markets and industries- funded through private capital markets. He has experience in both B2B and B2C companies. A silent and lead investor in a number of technology startup companies (including www.bdex.com and www.glince.me), Mr. Abbate is also a member of the Young Professionals of Wellington, Rotary International, and Entrepreneurs' Organization of South Florida, where he is a mentor in the Accelerator Program, which focuses on guiding young entrepreneurs with companies less than $1,000,000 in revenue to achieve that milestone and beyond within two years. He enjoys participating in high-level operational initiatives, including infrastructure design, process re-engineering, turnaround management, and reorganization. Mr. Abbate holds a degree from DePaul University in Philosophy and Business and recently presented his prophetic talk "How Not To Be Replaced By A Robot" at TedXBoca. He spends his free time thinking of how to make the world run more efficiently; reading various business and industry related books and publications; running 5ks; and riding on his golf cart with his young son, Winston and lovely wife Kelly.
