Auf dem Gebiet der automatischen Qualitatsregelung bei Werkzeugmaschinen gibt es Aufgaben, die mit Hilfe der pneumatischen Datenverarbeitung gelOst werden konnen. Unter der Voraussetzung, daB es sich um relativ langsame Vor- gange handelt, bieten sich hier Moglichkeiten, die unter Umstanden einen geringen Aufwand gegeniiber den bisher iiblichen elektrischen und elektronischen Ver- fahren erfordern. Durch die Entwicklung pneumatischer Stellglieder, die in Ver- bindung mit pneumatischen Reglern und pneumatischen Me13systemen eingesetzt werden, ist es moglich, pneumatische MeBsteuerungen zur Automatisierung von Werkzeugmaschinen aufzubauen. 1m folgenden werden die statistische Informationsverarbeitung in der Mengen- fertigung, die Auswahl eines statistischen Regelverfahrens mit optimalem Arbeits- bereich und die Ergebnisse der Entwicklung von pneumatischen statistischen Rechnern diskutiert. 1. Statistische Informationsverarbeitung in der Mengenfertigung Die Fertigungsergebnisse beim Drehen weisen zufallige und systematische Fehler in iiberlagerter Form auf. Diese Oberlagerungen ergeben sich infolge der verschiedenen, wahrend des Fertigungsprozesses an der Maschine und dem Werkzeug angreifenden Storgro13en, wie Werkzeugverschlei13, Materialfehler, Maschinenfehler, Bedienungsfehler oder Fehler, deren Ursprung in den Umwelt- einfliissen zu suchen ist. Eine Auswertung der MeGergebnisse an Drehautomaten mittels statistischer Ver- fahren ergibt gleichmaBige bzw. angenahert gleichmaBige Haufigkeitsverteilungen, wie sie in Abb. 1 schematisch dargestellt sind.
