About The Book

A Família, enquanto área da avaliação psicológica, representava em Portugal um objeto de estudo deficitário. Procurando dar um contributo neste domínio, esta obra reporta-se aos processos relacionais e dinâmicas psicológicas transversais às famílias, quer no seu quotidiano quer quando se encontram em terapia. Assim, são apresentados sete instrumentos que, numa ótica sistémica, avaliam o funcionamento e a comunicação familiar, a auto-perceção do indivíduo sobre o seu posicionamento no sistema e instrumentos que pretendem avaliar a eficácia e o processo em terapia familiar. Todos os capítulos seguem uma estrutura comum, definida na ótica do utilizador, e estruturada de forma a, por um lado, seguir uma lógica conceptual associada aos movimentos relacionais da Família, considerando o todo e a parte, e apresentar uma seleção dos instrumentos que, quer sejam de auto-resposta ou observacionais, procuram capturar aspetos relacionais e interacionais do sistema familiar e terapêutico. Fica a expectativa desta obra se revelar útil para o leitor e, fundamentalmente, para o desenvolvimento rigoroso do conhecimento na área dos estudos sobre a Família.

About The Author

Ana Paula Relvas é psicóloga, doutorada em Psicologia Clínica, Professora Catedrática da Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra; Coordenadora do Programa de Doutoramento Inter-Universitário em Psicologia Clínica, Psicologia da Família e Intervenção Familiar (Universidades de Coimbra e Lisboa); responsável pela sub-área de Psicoterapia Sistémica e Familiar do Mestrado Integrado em Psicologia da Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra. É coordenadora do Grupo de Investigação em Família, Saúde e Justiça e investigadora do Centro de Estudos Sociais (CES). É terapeuta familiar, supervisora da Sociedade Portuguesa de Terapia Familiar e membro da European Family Therapy Association (EFTA). Sofia Major é psicóloga, doutorada em Avaliação Psicológica e Professora Auxiliar Convidada da Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra. Desde Outubro de 2013 é investigadora associada do Centro de Estudos Sociais (CES)
