He also led the product security and security certifications team at Symantec Corporation. Wes has written books covering topics such as computer security and software development. He has participated in the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). He received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the University of California at Davis and a master of science degree in computer science from Santa Clara University.
