Studies and Essays relating to "A Theology of Becoming" Cross and Resurrection The Resurrection as Process The Kurios Question Eucharist and Passover Righteousness and Justice Evil and the Devil God: Other, Immanent, Transcendent Why Worship? Why Pray? Morality and Motivation Becoming Christian "A Theology of Becoming" introduced a new form of process theology, based on biblical study rather than philosophy or science. These essays modify and develop the ideas given there, as well as extending the theology into spirituality and ethics. The studies provide exciting new insights into the thought of the New Testament, which challenge traditional Christianity and provide an alternative understanding, more accessible to the modern world.

Revd Christopher Huggett gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Theology at the University of Hull in the early seventies under Professor Anthony Hanson, who became his mentor and friend. He went on to receive a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and qualified as a teacher, before returning to undertake two years theological research. He then taught religious education, Latin and history. In the late seventies he went to Lincoln Theological College to train for ordination to the Anglican priesthood and began full time ministry in 1981. He served in both urban and rural parishes in three northern dioceses and, in 1992, after several revisions, presented his thesis entitled, "The Jewish Tradition of Martyrdom in the First Century CE and its influence on the New Testament, with special reference to Jesus", for which he was awarded a Master of Philosophy degree. He retired in 2010, since when he has published several works of fiction and verse, a number of musical compositions, a book of theological papers and "A Theology of Becoming".
