She is the associate director of the Women Entrepreneurship Centre at Wilfrid Laurier University's Lazaridis School of Business and Economics. In 2021, The Globe and Mail's Report on Business magazine awarded her with its first annual Changemakers award. Sara lives in Waterloo, Ontario.
