He received the IEEE Signal Processing Society Technical Achievement Award in 2009, and was Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine and the founding Editor-in-Chief of the EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing.

Zhao, H. Vicky: - H. Vicky Zhao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta.
