Sind st rkere und h ufiger auftretende Witterungsereignisse f r den Anstieg der Bodenzerst rung in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten verantwortlich? Diese und weitere Fragen stellen sich, wenn man einmal die vielen Umweltprobleme unserer Erde in Betracht zieht, wobei in dieser Arbeit vor allem die Degradation der Landschaften durch menschliche Einfl sse im Vordergrund stehen soll. Die Ursache f r die unterschiedlich gepr gten Landschaftsbilder, welche die Natur der Welt aufweist, k nnte in den Prozessen liegen, durch die sie geformt werden. hnliche Merkmale eines Raumes werden in unterschiedlicher Art und Weise, Zeit und Intensit t ver ndert, sodass die dabei entstehenden Formen und Strukturen trotz derselben Ausgangsbedingungen nicht identisch sind. Die vorliegende Arbeit versucht Einblicke zu geben, inwieweit menschliches Handeln Auswirkungen auf verschiedenartige Landschaften hat und im schlimmsten Fall zu deren Zerst rung f hren kann. Dabei soll anhand einiger Beispiele wie der ackerbaulichen Nutzung der nordamerikanischen L sslandschaft des Palouse, der Landschaftszerst rung auf der Robinson-Crusoe-Insel, der gartenbaulichen Nutzung des nordchinesischen L ssplateaus und dem fr hen Gartenbau der Rapanui auf der Osterinsel, die Ver nderung und Zerst rung der Landschaften der Erde durch nachhaltige und nichtnachhaltige Bodennutzung durch den Menschen dargestellt werden.
