About The Book

Die Entwicklung an den bergmannischen Lehranstalten, insbeson- dere die Griindung der Ingenieurschulen fur Bergwesen, war nur der auBere AniaB fur eine durchgreifende Anderung der "Bergbaumecha- nik". Diese ergibt sich vor aHem aus der Einfuhrung der internationa- len Formelzeichen, des internationalen Einheitensystems, allerdings mit der technischen Krafteinheit Kilopond (kp), sowie der grundsatz- lichen Darstellung der Gesetze als GroBengleichungen. Die m-kg-s-(kp)-Einheitenzusammenstellung fordert eine Abrede ihrer Handhabung, auf die einleitend hingewiesen ist. Sie soll aber die allmahliche Dberleitung in das Rechnen mit dem internationalen Ein- heitensystem mit der koharenten Krafteinheit Newton (N) vorbereiten. Die grundsatzliche Verwendung von GroBengleichungen ist eine seit langem gestellte Forderung vor allem auch der Kultusminister. Sie schlieBt jedoch nicht die Wiedergabe von oft gebrauchten Zahlenwert- gleichungen aus, die umfangreiche Rechnungen z. B. in Tabellen er- leichtern. Zur Darstellung mancher technischer GroBen sind sie viel- fach unentbehrlich. Hier sollen die teilweise unubersichtlichen, oft maBbehafteten "Konstanten" solcher Zahlenwertgleichungen abgelei- tet werden. Die Wiedergabe von Beispielen aus dem Bergbau mit der Ableitung ihrer besonderen Gesetze wurde erweitert. In dem Kapitel "Anwendun- gen der Gesetze bei der Forderung im Bergbau" am Ende der Dynamik wurde ein Teil dieser Beispiele zusammengefaBt. Eine Neufassung erfuhr die Behandlung der Rutschsicherheit bei der Band- und Treibscheiben- forderung. Fur die Anwendung der Stromungslehre auf die Wetterbewe- gung im Bergbau unter Tage konnten neuere Forschungsergebnisse fur die Reibungszahl im "Dbergangsgebiet" mit verschiedenen "Grenz- kurven" aufgenommen werden.
