Auch der Studierende wird viele niitzliche Hinweise in ihm finden. Berechnungen und einfache Ableitungen von Gleichungen wurden nur soweit herangezogen, als sich dies als unbedingt notig erwies. Jeder Abschnitt ist in sich abgeschlossen und kann daher zu Nach- schlagezwecken benutzt werden. Wer sich iiber den Rahmen dieses Buches hinaus mit Teilgebieten vertraut machen will, findet Hinweise in dem beigefUgten Literaturverzeichnis. Das Buch diirfte sich bei der Aus- arbeitung von Betriebsanweisungen und Betriebsvorschriften in Kraft- und Umspannwerken, in Verteilungs- und Industrieanlagen als niitz- lich erweisen. Das Hauptgewicht wurde auf Transformatoren mit Stu- fenregulierung gelegt, die sich nach Entwicklung der Hochspannungs- Lastregelschalter zunehmend durchgesetzt haben. Schub- und Gleit- regler wurden nicht behandelt, weil diese fUr den Hochspannungs- betrieb ihre Bedeutung verloren haben. Dagegen wurden die Dreh- transformatoren kurz beschrieben, weil sie nach Verbesserung der Wick- lungsisolation und der Konstruktionsteile in manchenAnlagen als Dreh- regler oder als Doppeldrehregler in Betrieb sind und fUr Spannungs- und Phasenregulierung weiterhin verwendet werden.
