Summa Mariologica: Biblical Mariology in the Economy of Salvation (Volume I).

Fundamenta Biblica et Typologia Mariana.

Is the truth about the Virgin Mary being deliberately silenced in our time?

When marian doctrines face institutional minimization and systematic watering down under the guise of pastoral diplomacy, this monumental treatise stands as an uncompromising, intellectually rigorous defense of the Blessed Virgin Mary's active, causal, and necessary role in the Oeconomia Salutis (the economy of salvation).

Written by researcher, jurist, and philosopher Jess Fernndez-Pedrera Correa, this first volume of the Summa Mariologica recovers centuries of Sacred Scripture, patristic tradition, and scholastic precision to restore Mary to her rightful place at the center of the mystery of Christ and His Church.

Using the meticulous methodology of Biblical Typology-anchored in the Augustinian axiom "Novum in Vetere latet, Vetus in Novo patet" (The New Testament is hidden in the Old, and the Old is revealed in the New)-the author demonstrates that the Mother of God does not emerge abruptly in the Gospels. Instead, she is the golden thread woven by the Holy Spirit throughout the history of Israel, representing creation's ultimate "Yes" to God's eternal covenant.

What you will discover in this rigorous theological and exegetical study:

  • The Anatomy of the Protoevangelium (Genesis 3:9-15): A profound exegesis of the primordial promise, analyzing the philological tension of the verb shuph, the grammatical debate over the salvific pronoun (H' vs. Autos vs. Ipsa), and the absolute enmity decreed by God that lays the groundwork for the Immaculate Conception.
  • The Holy Women of Israel as Prefigurations: A typological journey tracing the miraculous fruitfulness of Sarah and Hannah, the prophetic and military strength of Deborah and Jael, the saving beauty of Judith, the royal intercession of Esther, and the etymological mystery of Miriam.
  • The Davidic Institution of the Gebirah: A reconstruction of the office of the Queen Mother in the Kingdom of Judah-her courtly protocol, her role as the people's advocate, and her "supplicating omnipotence"-revealing its perfect fulfillment at the Wedding at Cana and Golgotha.
  • The Daughter of Zion (Bat Tzion): Mary as the collective personification of the faithful "remnant" of Israel, establishing the striking linguistic and structural parallels between Zephaniah 3 and the Annunciation in Luke 1.
  • The Inanimate Symbols of Incorruption: A rich analysis of Mary as the true Ark of the New Covenant and Ezekiel's Closed Gate (Porta Clausa), providing the biblical basis for her Perpetual Virginity (ante, in, et post-partum) and the patristic theology of the "ear" (conceptio per aurem).
  • Contemporary Critique & Dogmatic Defense: An unflinching theological refutation of modern minimalist trends, including a critical examination of the Vatican's note Mater Populi Fidelis, demonstrating why Mary's titles of Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces, and Advocate are structural cornerstones of the Catholic faith.

Biblical Mariology in the Economy of Salvation is an academic masterclass, a defensive shield of Marian dogmas, and an indispensable resource for priests, seminarians, theologians, and any believer seeking to dive into the deep, unchanging waters of Catholic metaphysics.

Correa, Jesus Fernandez-Pedrera: -
