Entscheidender ist die Tatsache, dass seine Schriften in der philosophischen Diskussion des In- und Auslandes im- mer mehr an Boden gewinnen. FUr das Ausland sind vor aHem Frankreich, Spanien, Italien, Jugoslawien, Nordamerika und Japan zu nennen. Enge philosophische Beziehungen ver- binden ihn mit den beiden franzosischen Philosophen Maurice Merleau-Ponty und Gaston Berger. die sich in ihren phano- menologischen Arbeiten auf Fink berufen. An der Sorbonne werden die Schriften Finks nicht nur studiert, sondern es werden auch Lehrveranstaltungen iiber sie abgehalten. Ahn- liches gilt fUr die Universitat Louvain. Der inzwischen inter- national bekannt gewordene Philosophen-Kreis der Universi- tat Zagreb sieht in Fink einen seiner Lehrer und Vermittler phanomenologischer Philosophie. 1m Zusammenhang mit der Rezeption der Philosophie Heideggers an den Universitaten der USA innerhalb der letzten fiinf Jahre findet auch hier das Schrifttum Finks Gehor. Oberall, wo die phanomenologische Philosophie im Umkreis Husserls und Heideggers zum Gegen- stand des Fragens und Forschens gemacht und wo der Ver- such unternommen wird, selbstandig phanomenologisch zu arbeiten, werden die Schriften Finks als wichtige, oft unum- gangliche Wegweiser verstanden.
