AVINASH K. CHITALE, PPhD, is Academic Advisor, and former Director, GovindramSeksaria Institute of Management and Research, Indore. Earlier, he has been Professor and Head in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Shri GovindramSeksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Indore. Dr. Chitale has authored five books, including the present title, which have been published by PHI Learning. In a career spanning over four decades, Dr. Chitale has supervised about 80 Masters Dissertations and guided 15 Ph.D. theses in various areas of management and technology.
|R.C. Gupta, Ph.D., is former Professor and Head, Department of Metallurgical Engineering, IIT-BHU, Varanasi. He has 42 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Ferrous Process Metallurgy at Banaras Hindu University. His teaching and research interests include energy and environment. He has worked on renewable energy for use in metal industry and use of metallurgical solid waste to make value-added products. Dr. R.C. Gupta has supervised the research/project work of 11 Ph.D. and about 70 M.Tech. and B.Tech. students for their respective degrees (Ph.D., M.Tech. and B.Tech.). He has authored two textbooks, edited two conference proceedings and published more than 130 research papers in various international/national journals. He is a member of various expert committees of Government of India related to the environment management.
