He has over 44 years of experience, including 15 years in the Indian Air Force, 1.2 years in the industry, and 28.2 years in teaching. He has authored 2 books, 11 book chapters, and 2 edited books, and was editor of the proceedings for many international conferences and granted patents. He has guided many scholars of PhD, MTech, and undergraduates. His area of research is additive manufacturing. He has been granted many funded projects and completed several industrial consultancies. He is also an executive member of many professional societies. He is a technical expert member of many government bodies and universities.

Madhavi Singh is a doctor in family medicine and fellow in hospital medicine is currently associate professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine.
