Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2015 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Linguistik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel dieser Arbeit soll es sein, die Etappe des Mittelniederdeutschen in der niederdeutschen Sprachgeschichte genauer zu untersuchen. Dabei sollen zum einen sprachstrukturelle Entwicklungsbesonderheiten reflektiert werden und das Mittelniederdeutsche in seiner Funktion als Hanse-, Rechts-, und Kirchensprache analysiert werden. Betrachtet werden soll au erdem, wie die einst so weit verbreite Sprache mit dem Untergang der Hanse ein jähes Ende fand, bis sich ab 1850 schlie lich neue Formen der schriftlichen Tradierung festigten. Setzt man sich mit dem Niederdeutschen auseinander, lernt man eine ganz eigene Sprache kennen, die auf den ersten Blick unzählige Unterschiede zu unserer heutigen Sprache und dem Sprachgebrauch aufzeigt, auf den zweiten Blick jedoch ebenso Gemeinsamkeiten beinhaltet und Vergleiche zulässt. Die bewusste Auseinandersetzung mit dieser alten norddeutschen Sprache hat somit das gro e Potential, Mehrsprachigkeit auf eine andere Art und Weise erfahrbar zu machen. So kann man z.B. Schülerinnen und Schülern genannte Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten bei der Auseinandersetzung mit dem Niederdeutschen gleichzeitig nutzbar machen. Darüber hinaus liefert die niederdeutsche Sprache die wertvolle Möglichkeit, identitätsstiftende Momente zu schaffen. Grundlage für die Kontextualisierung in der Bildungslandschaft ist das EU-Recht. Niederdeutsch wird dort als Regionalsprache und nicht als Dialekt definiert. Diese findet ihren Bezugsrahmen in der "Europäischen Charta für Regional-, und Minderheitssprachen". Deutschland ist somit verpflichtet, Niederdeutsch als Minderheitensprache zu fördern und zu schützen. Abschlie end sollen im Rahmen dieser Arbeit die theoretischen Ergebnisse daher genutzt werden, um eine Brücke mit entsprechendem Praxisbezug in die Gegenwart zu schlagen und das Potential eines sprachgeschichtlichem Themas wie dem Niederdeutschen für Schüle
