When a rainy day calls for creativity, house-chickens Botl and Hattie dive into a world of make-believe.

Botl becomes a unicorn, a cowgirl, and a princess-but when Hattie imagines herself as a lobster, her underwater adventure takes a surprising turn. Through her deep-sea journey, young readers learn fascinating crustacean facts-like how lobsters walk backward, live alone, and thrive in the cold, dark depths of the ocean.

More than just a silly tale, Botl and Hattie Make Believe is a gentle exploration of imagination, emotional growth, and the comforts of being yourself. With humor, heart, and two real-life pet chickens at the center, this picture book offers a sweet reminder that life is warmer-and more fun-when shared with friends.

Perfect for ages 2-8, this story invites curiosity and conversation, blending fiction and nonfiction to support early learning, social-emotional development, and STEM interest.
